Paquete para manipulación de sonido.
===== Instalación en Debian =====
En Debian Testing (Squeeze):
apt-get install octave-audio
Para poder reproducir sonidos a través de la tarjeta de sonido o del altavoz del sistema es necesario el paquete **sox**:
apt-get install sox
===== Instalación en Windows =====
La instalación en Windows XP se realiza a través del binario (no a través de port para Cygwin).
Durante el proceso de instalación, es necesario seleccionar los siguientes paquetes del listado de **Octave-forge**:
audio
* **audio** contiene las funciones de tratamiento de sonido.
* **playrec** posibilita que Octave se comunique con el sistema de sonido de Windows
===== Ejemplo =====
* Creación de array de 10000 elementos aleatorios entre 0 y 1.
* Interpretación del array como sonido.
Lanzar interprete de comandos de Octave:
$ octave
GNU Octave, version 3.0.5
